| Copyright c 1994 by Oded Davidson Silver, ebony, engraved, lattice, cut, soldered, pressed. Elaborately engraved and lattice worked candlesticks with illustrations of King Solomon's book the Song of Songs which is traditonaly sung on the eve of Sabbath in the synagogue. The entire book is a love song between man and his God yet written as a love poem between a man and his wife. The original pair of candlesticks were designed by Oded as a gift to his wife. Wording on the base is from the traditional Sabbath song "..lecha dodi likrat kala pnei shabbat ne-kabelah.." "..go thee groom towards thy bride; the presence of the Sabbath to recieve.."
