Running along the top of the centre piece is a small man pulling a donkey - alluding to the coming of the Messiah. The small plaque is engraved with the words " ..Im esh-kehech Yerushalaim tish-kuch yemini .." "...if I forget the Jerusalem, my right hand will be forgotten..." An amber bead dangles on either side of the plaque.
