Three hand punched flowers crown the lattice work giving the effect of flowers in a vase - flowers traditionally given to the woman of the home on Sabbath eve. Running along the base are the Hebrew words: ".. bo-ee be-simcha ateret baala.." "..come in joy the crown of her husband.." taken from "Lecha Dodi" sabbath song, tradionally sung in the synagogue on Sabbath eve.
